Loved exploring the marvellous churches and elegant shops. The spa was a nice touch, I definitely needed to relax after all that walking. The exclusive superior room had everything I needed for a romantic night.

Had to resist the temptation to buy all the delicious food in the typical food shops.

This family run hotel has a lovely ambience. The small outdoor swimming pool, adjacent sitting area and immaculate garden were a definite bonus. The breakfasts were excellent, the rooms spotless and the staff extremely helpful and polite. It was within 5 minutes walking distance of the old town so getting there on foot was fairly easy. My wife and I would definitely go back.

The only minor quibble is that the hotel is near the local hospital (soon to be relocated to another part of the city) so the occasional sound of ambulance sirens was audible but did not cause us any real concern.

We liked the feeling of beeing just so wellcomed. The room was so beutiful and the possiblety to take a dip in pool to cool of, was great. The breakfast was just super. We will tel everybody we know ajour this wonderful place in Lucca and we dó hope to come back again and will ofcourse stay at Villa Romantica.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel just outside the city walls and had such a wonderful experience. The hotel had beautifully landscaped gardens with a small pool tucked away in a corner. My suite was well-appointed with large shuttered windows, a canopied bed, and a modern Tuscan-flavored bathroom. The owners, the Favilla family, were incredibly accommodating and attentive to every detail. They made me feel like I was staying with relatives. Plus, the hotel had its own parking which was a huge convenience. I would highly recommend this hotel for its lovely atmosphere and excellent service.

The family who ran the Hotel were delightful and extremely helpful in every way. We had a great room and loved the use of their bicycles to ride around town. Breakfast was very good and served with cheerful greetings each morning.

Lovely welcome by our hosts who where always available but never obtrusive.Hotel is outside of Lucca walls which we preferred but only a 5 minute walk away. Great for parking as it has a private and secluded car park on site which was great as I had my motorbike which I wanted secure.

Perfect location, just a short walk from the city walls and close to GREAT restaurants. Spacious and bright room on the first floor, with a large and well-equipped bathroom. Enjoyed the delicious Italian/European style breakfast each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Easy 10-minute walk to the town center.

Convenient parking option available, although plenty of street parking was also seen. Beautiful garden with trees and singing birds, creating a lovely atmosphere.

Friendly, helpful owners. Good breakfast. Free bicycles for exploring Lucca. Good location, being very close to the city walls of Lucca. Private parking.

We got room with cosy decor and a luxury bathroom to relax. We stayed there for holidays and had a very delightful experience, would book here again.

This hotel is perfectly located near the city wall, with a fantastic restaurant nearby. The room was bright and spacious, with a large bathroom. The Italian/European style breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. a highly recommended stay.

Great and lovely location in the old town, and 10 minute walk from St Martin Cathedral. Fabulous food in the restaurant, excellent breakfast with cheese, soft boiled eggs, fruit juice. Private parking outside provided

The units are huge, beautifully maintained with the balcony. The staff are welcoming, and the owner too.

We loved the spacious garden view room with a large balcony and separate sitting room, providing plenty of space. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated having bikes to borrow. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was generous.

We enjoyed our stay at the villa very much a touch of luxury after the hotel we had stayed at the week before . The staff were very helpful with directions and advice of where to visit. The room was kept clean and changes of linen were excelent.

Beautiful grounds to relax in after a day in busy Lucca..Just a few minutes walk outside the wall but a world away. We used their bikes to bike back for a dinner and concert, Owners very friendly and helpful.
